Five Forests

The Five Forests are the largest mostly self-governed territories in the Seelie Court. They are inhabited almost entirely by eladrin, though these eladrin do not change with the seasons, but rather stay in the season of the Forest that they call home. Four of the Forests are based off of a specific season, with their territory perpetually locked in that season. However, the fifth Forest, the Forgotten Forest, is a dusty and dark landscape, filled with leafless and ashy trees with tangling branches and thorny brambles. The four seasonal Forests surround the Forgotten forest, forming a sort of circle together, a quarter of the circle each being a different Forest. The Forests are arranged in the way the seasons naturally progress, with the Autumn Forest bordering the Summer and Winter Forests, the Summer Forest bordering the Spring and Autumn Forests, the Spring Forest bordering the Summer and Winter Forests, and the Winter Forests bordering the Autumn and Spring Forests.
