Elemental Sigils

A number of elemental and primal forces are represented and seemingly controlled by sigils that can be applied to objects or even living beings by unknown means. A book found in the Pompelo library listed the symbols and a small number of ways to interpret the magic used to activate and deactivate them, the only simple way being looking at the sigil through a hagstone. The heroes first encountered a sigil in Denpalus when Cerridwen used one to summon a malformed fire elemental. A few days later in Pompelo Brynner used one to summon an air elemental. Most recently a sound one was placed on Aelia's and the other kidnapped elves' and half elves' mouths to stop them from making sound, but was dispelled via replicating the gestures seen through the hagstone provided by Aldar.
