Midway Inn
So called for its location roughly half way between Arivon and Cliffgrasp, as well as between Nu-Fou and Zankor, the Midway Inn is a large isolated building that accommodates all travelers. Of course, as the only inn on that stretch of road their cost is higher than average.
The inn is owned and ran by Zeirsha and Odras Proudmead. In their employ are six uniformed guards, a young fiery Zhinnovna named Nazu, and a Medvalyn herbalist named Branimir.
Architecture
The building is large and rectangular with four stories. Next to the inn is a fairly sizable barn for guests to store their animals., as well as a water tower. A drainage pipe empties out from the back of the building towards a small pond.
The first floor is entirely made up of amenities: within the foyer is the front desk and a window connecting to a small herbalist kiosk. Through a set of double doors is a hallway that runs down the front side of the building. The first door is the entrance to the dining hall, which takes up the majority of the floor. The second door leads to a small library/reading room. At the end of the hall is the main stairwell, with a locked door down to the basement. There is another a stairwell in the opposite corner of the building, directly through the dining hall, though that one only goes up to the third floor.
The second and third floors are entirely composed of rooms. Adjacent rooms share a washroom between them with mostly functional plumbing. Each floor houses 24 rooms.
The fourth floor consists of the "penthouse" and a large open air terrace, with space for seating adorned with plants. The penthouse has two large suites, each with two bedrooms, two washrooms, and a common room. Each bedroom within the suites is fitted with a Dimensional Chest, as well as a Voidiron chest in the common room. The terrace is not an exclusive area and any guests may spend their time up there (weather permitting). There is also a water storage basin opposite of the stairwell, kept heated by exhaust from the kitchen and fireplaces which all vent out underneath it.
