Silver Lake
The Silver Lake is a large lake that feeds into Lake Galifar and is fed from the waters flowing from the Byeshk Mountains and the Blackcaps. Though not as large as the Galifar Lake, it still boasts vast fishstocks with which to feed many settlements. It is also the easiest way to transport goods from Droamm and Breland into the Eldeen Reaches and into Aundair for those who wish to avoid the Lightning Rail.
The Argentum, an alliance of three city-states in the Reaches, take their namesake from the the lake as they were established on its shores. These cities include:
- Erlaskar - A canal city that controls the flow of ships and goods in and out of the Silver Lake
- Greenblade - The smallest city in the Argentum
- Sylbaran - A fortress city bordering the Reaches and Droamm. Seeing rapid growth from trade opportunies coming from Droamm
Geography
The Silver Lake is much smaller than its neighbouring cousin, the Galifar Lake, at roughly 280 miles wide and 100 miles long. Its greatest depth is also much shallower, at 453 ft deep.
Fauna & Flora
The Silver Lake is teeming with many species of fish, crustaeans, and sharks. Lakeweed, kelp, and algae are all common along the lake floors.
