Lomé
"They shambled towards me, and the cultists continued to chant, and I swore I saw the Hollow One cast on the wall behind them. He was pale as snow, but the blood on his face was so red I tasted it on mere sight. Somehow, even with madmen in hoods setting hordes of zombies upon me, he was the least human-looking in the room... I cannot explain how a mind could hold such depravity without simply breaking."EL 454 account of survivor of cult of Lomé
Lomé is the god of black magic and undeath. He quickly found power in darkness and, wondering why no one else seemed interested in making use of it, dedicated himself to studying it. He committed many unspeakable crimes against the will of Evendur and became ostracized by the other Meydra, which only served to heighten his drive to learn about that which everyone around him seemed so much to fear. He hollowed out a place deep beneath the earth which was said to be so permeated with evil that to go there was to die. Lomé experimented with death and life, decay and age, destruction and rebirth, but everything he revived came back mangled almost beyond recognition. Still, he claimed to find value in every test he undertook, and continued gathering power and knowledge to himself. In time, Na-Ima, the goddess of death herself, sought him out to stop his befouling of the sacred resting places of the dead, and granted him the courtesy of a death-like sleep, which lasted until the Death of the Meydra. Lomé is portrayed as a handsome, thin man with deathly pale skin and white hair, blood splattered across his face, frequently holding a humanoid skull and wearing jewelry made of bones.
Relationships
Lomé was feared or scorned by most of the Meydra, even his parents, Madjei and Djudla-Mei. For a brief time Dzuzce sought an alliance, but even he backed away after seeing the extent of what Lomé was doing. He had brief relations with Zhamat near the end of his active life, not long before he was put to sleep.
Followers
Clerics and followers of Lomé are exclusively of evil alignment, usually necromancers. In his experiments he created a great many creatures, some of which led to their own races, to whom many have pledged themselves and become warlocks.
