Campaign 2
Cassandra was the Master of Glamour at the
College of Exquisite Arts. She was a stunning and glamorous woman with much worldly experience.
Cassandra's Notebook revealed that she was working as a spy for
Nakaba, as well as serving as a double agent for
Erfu. Her journal suggests that it was she who betrayed Veda to Nakaba, which resulted in the attempted kidnapping of Táo.
Cassandra attempted to confess her deception during Mayor
Tomias Stoutson's party, but was assassinated in a joint effort by the
Silent Owls and
The Reapers.
Veda and Cassandra had a close relationship while she was at the College. Cassandra was something of a mentor to Veda and the tiefling nearly studied under the College of Glamour because of this. Since Veda left the college, the pair had kept in touch regularly, with Cassandra becoming close with Veda's husband as well.
It was believed (rumoured) that Cassandra rose to her high standing by trading secrets and knowledge amongst powerful folk in The Triad. She came by this knowledge by using her bardic skills, and other "talents". With the revelation in her journal that she had been spying for Erfu for at least 2 centuries, these rumours may not have been true. Cassandra's true background remains a mystery, one that may never be solved due to her untimely death.
