Godric - Returning the Princess
Princess Olwyn Orbeck, was turned into a tiger by mysterious attackers on the road to Kaiz. Godric has been charged to look after the tiger princess, whilst trying to find a way to help her, or find the assailants. Valkia Orbeck is also working on this from her end.
Adina, The Diviner has discovered the identity of Hope the tiger, using her True Sight. She took the party to the Royal Palace to speak to Queen Ophelia Orbeck, but was intercepted by Valkia Orbeck. Adina has suggested that the group try and speak to the elves of Erfu, as they apparently have more powerful magics than Kureta and may be able to identify (if not undo) the spell that transformed Olwyn.
The Unlikely Association have arrived in Erfu in the hopes of acquiring aid in reversing Princess Olwyn's affliction. Upon arrival in Erfu, the group were quickly advised to leave for their own safety. Apparently the elves are not happy about the recent murder of Cassandra De La Hûne - an elf that was apparently a spy for the elven High Council. It was highly unlikely that the elves would help the group, and more likely that they would apprehend them, using the princess as leverage against Kureta City. The party fled Erfu, and are hoping that Kaylessa Moonsnow will provide some aid down the line. Kaylessa has asked the group to speak to Sophitia Mason in Nakaba if they get a chance, as apparently she is in need of aid.
In the great library of Kain, the dead god of knowledge, reference to a spell called 'True Polymorph' was found. This spell apparently has the power to change the form of one creature into another, and is not limited to only beasts like the standard Polymorph spell. This more powerful version may also be made permanent, provided the caster maintains concentration on the spell for an hour. The spell was found in an ancient spellbook that once belonged to an elf. It seems that it's likely that only an elf would be able to cast such a spell.
Through the power of Torleth Vanorin's Moonbeam spell, Olywn was returned to her true form, but only temporarily. The nature of her transformation suggested to the druid that Olwyn has been afflicted with Lycanthrope. Torleth believes that over time, the princess should be able to control the transformation, and return to her human form. Though she will have no control during a full moon.
Godric was able to locate the Were-creatures of the Manto Woods, and with their help Olwyn has learnt to control her curse. Now back in her human form (except for full moons) Olwyn can return to her mother and the royal family. As thanks, Godric has been granted a new title as "Royal Champion", which includes a new set of red and gold plate mail, emblazoned with the symbol of the Templars.
