Kaiz
Kaiz is the first town along the northern trade road from Kureta City. This combined with it's close proximity to the Dora Lake - a popular tourist location - makes it a great place for wealthy merchants and nobles to take a vacation, and get away from life in the big city.
Kaiz's main source of income for this reason is from tourism and entertainment. There are a number of taverns in the town that provide nightly live music - featuring some of Kureta's best performers - as well as playhouses for stage performances and other forms of entertainment. Many of the College of Exquisite Arts' students flock to Kaiz to make a living as a performer.
The town of Kaiz is a peaceful place, and it is considered improper for one to travel within the town adorned in weaponry, with exception to the guards. Weapons should either be out of sight, or wrapped in cloth to reduce the threat they bear.
Music and laughter often fill the air of Kaiz, along with the scent of sweet treats and baked goods. Their is a general positivity to the town, and it is often looked upon as a 'Dreamland' by the young and impressionable, or a place for people without real jobs by the more serious folk of other towns and cities.
Kaiz has a single ruler, a Half-Elf called 'Virtue' Amie Taren. Amie is a lover of music and the arts, and is particularly known for her singing voice. Her position as 'Virtue' gives her ownership of the grandest ballroom of Kaiz - "The Tama Sodanya", which hosts glamorous parties throughout the year.
