Mintaun

Mintaun sits roughly halfway between Kureta City and Hiku City, which brings it a fair bit of traffic in the form of trade caravans. It's close proximity to both the Taken Woods and Okina Forest also make it a popular spot for naturists and researches, who investigate the oddities of the Tanken Woods, and enjoy the peace of the Okina Forest.
Mintaun is mostly known as the birth place of the hero Karth Paige, a noble warrior who served as a Knight of the Shield before becoming a Templar. During his time with the Templars, Karth was responsible for foiling an infiltration within the knightly order, with help from his now wife, Romy Stephane. A Kurete statue of Karth stands proudly in the middle of the town square.
Mintaun is ruled by Mayor Nikita Ikari, a woman with a strong sense of justice who promotes doing the right thing and protecting the little people.
