Nistaun
Nistaun sits on the northwestern trade road, which heads towards the Stone Falls and Kureta's northern neighbours.
Nistaun has had a dwindling population for many years, with many buildings now standing empty and abandoned. The reason for this is due to many strange occurrences within the town, which the common folk believe to be the work of ghosts, or demons, or both.
Nistaun did have a ruler around 5 years ago, a man named Riley Poole, but they resigned and fled the town after an incident in their home. Nobody has volunteered to step into the role since then, leaving the citizens that remain to govern themselves.
Trade has come pretty much to a halt for the town, and the citizens who still live there survive on the food they produce themselves. Travellers occasionally pass through the town, either on the way to Kureta City from the north, or heading that way from the capital.
For the people that live in Nistaun, they wish for nothing more than to see their town return to what it once was - and this hope seems to be the only thing that keeps them there. Investigations have been made by the Templars in the past, but nothing was ever found that pointed to paranormal activity.

What happened here? Ghosts? Surely not... How could this happen to a Kuretian town without any recourse? I feel terrible for the people who remain, and only hope that my rendition of their town may bring some light to this awful situation.
