Veda - A Glamorous Death
Cassandra De La Hûne - the Master of Glamour at the College of Exquisite Arts, was murdered at The Mayor's Party.
On her body, the group found the marker of The Silent Owls assassins guild and a coded journal (Cassandra's Notebook). The journal contains many of the bard's secrets, some of which are still to be decoded.
According to Kaylessa Moonsnow of Erfu, Cassandra was a spy for the Elven High Council. The elves are unhappy that her murder isn't being properly looked into and this has raised tensions in the city. Kaylessa is worried that the elves may do something drastic as retribution.
With recent information about strange happenings in Nakaba, the group suspect that Cassandra may have been a double agent for the coastal city too, as her notebook mentions 'sending information east'.
Notes discovered in the secret lab beneath Nakaba suggest that Cassandra's assassination was ordered by the Nakabans, for which the Master of Glamour was spying. It is believed that Cassandra went by the code name "The Dancer".
A letter sent to Veda in the near future reveals that Cassandra is still alive. The Master of Glamour apparently faked her own death in order to flee her old life, and has now set herself up in Takari Peak. The elf is staying at Devi's Tower, should Veda wish to speak with her in person.
