Wild Half-Elf
Second only to the aquatics, the wild half-elves are exceptionally rare among their kind due to the natural scarcity of wild elves outside of the elvish homeland. These half-elves are born only from wood elves, and sylvan elves look upon then with nothing but contempt.
They inherit much of their elvish parent's love for nature and the languages of the wilds and often work as priests of nature or rangers, protecting the wilderness from those who would cause it harm. This often puts them at odds with lumberjacks and farmers who need the wood and land to work.
Wild half-elves often work as intermediaries between druidic circles or ranger conclaves and commonfolk, working toward a peaceful conclusion in order to both preserve nature and allow both sides to prosper.

Because of their acute senses, half-elves are quick to spot concealed doors and hidden entranceways. Merely passing within 10’ of a concealed door allows a half-elf a one-in-six chance (1 on 1d6) to notice it. If actively searching, a half-elf’s chances improve to a two-in-six chance (1-2 on 1d6) to find secret doors, and a three-in-six chance (1-3 on 1d6) to notice a concealed door.
Half-wild elves often keep much of the feeling of civilization being “dead” that their elvish parents hold, but it is tempered by human nurturing.
