House Sunheart of Brightlance

In the year 488, House Sunheart was founded by Sir Ulrick Goldfire, a Dragonknight who had defeated King Soren the Red in single combat, forcing him to vacate the throne. His successor, Queen Trista Goldfire, granted Sir Ulrick lands to the west of Dragonhearth and founded a new cadet branch of the royal house.
