Scaildeach Forest

Geography

Southwest of Myrdinas lies Scaildeach, or the Skaldwood. This sprawling forest passes Hyrun'Thalor and reaches nearly to Rushbrooke and New Market. Trees and bluffs mark a majority of this landscape, bordered by the branches of the Green River heading south and west.

Fauna & Flora

Flora

The forest is full of oak, ash, hazel, birch, pine, rowan and willow trees, along with other shrubs, herbs, and flowers.

Fauna

Wolves, bears, elk, deer, squirrels and other rodents make up the animal population.

Monsters

Monsters are said to be the creation of the Fomorians, or Those Who Dwell Below. Reported sightings include large beasts, undead, tricky fae, witches, and other horrors.
