Hereford Farm
Purpose / Function
Unlike the proud specialists across the road at Tarntaise Farm, the farmhands of Hereford are happy to sell a sack of turnips to any inquirer for a fair price.
Of course, "turnip season" being traditionally autumn through mid-spring, that means the "fair price" for turnips is higher when easy alternatives are available -- especially in autumn. Prices come down a good way as the snow sets in because the Herefords know they will get repeat business this way.
