Diplomatic action

The LightBringers wake early and head to The Crown. They approach the gate to the Elector's Palace and are granted entry thanks to notification from Captain Ella Figgis. A guard called Erinn assures them she will keep their weapons safe as they enter the grounds and points them toward the Elector's Library, which is a building in the south west corner of the palace grounds.

They enter the library and are assisted by a librarian called Gaveth. They discuss Bruno and the Vanguard and The Cleansing Wave. They are able to put together a timeline of some of the Vanguard activities and discover a little more about things happening at a similar time. They discover the name of the Storm Giant was Thryk.

Upon leaving they gather their weapons again and are told Captain Figgis wishes to see them. They go to see here, and are shown in promptly, though they interrupt her practicing swordplay with some other guards. She talks to them a little, where they admit to bringing dangerous things from another world into Confluence and being targetted by supernatural forces. She tells them she would like them to figure out what is disappearing people in the sewers of The Crown, given they seem determined to get into trouble anyway. They agree, and discuss payment possibilities, but do not decide on specifics yet.

The LightBringers then travel back out to Moradin's Beard. They see a Gnome performing there, and talk a little with two Dwarves that are from the visiting Earthspine Residents group. Dharra Boulderfoot arranges to do a short set after the gnome and the Dwarves listen attentively.

The Dwarves ask is she will be performing at The Lively Grotto this evening and are told not.

Dharra and Arkomir Phinan go upstairs to meet with Katya Shadowash. She fills them in on a few more details of her story, and Arkomir apologises for being so upset. She tells them a little about the Elven Pure and they discuss possible strategies. She reveals that she is wearing an amulet that magically makes her hard to detect. They invite Katya to join them on the expedition into the sewers at midnight. Then go to dinner, just six hours or so to wait.
