Lord Lukas Gutfreund
Lukas Gutfreund was born to his highly aristocratic family in the Kingdom of Columba. He received every bit of the tutelege and private education expect of a person of his social rank, and was widely considered to be a dutiful, if a bit dull, son of his father. Lukas had little interest in politics or military affairs, choosing instead to focus upon management of resources and logistics. Although he did briefly serve as an adjunct to the Royal Navy, he had little to do of any import, and retired from the service after only a year before he turned twenty.
After he took over the family from his father, following a marriage to a minor noblewoman from Orrland, he chose a more sedentary lifestyle, managing the house's holdings and seeking to improve infrastructure and the more rural parts of the Waldküste. He has been mostly successful, but his primary reputation among the other nobles of the nation is one of dull reliability, often just rubber stamping the decisions of his more energetic sons and supporting them as needed. He is part of a more traditional crowd and faction in the Adalsrat, often parroting the refrain that the crown simply needs to leave the provinces to their own business under the regional lords.
