The Amber District
The Amber District is the largest part of the city because it is where most of the citizens live. The Amber Gate is the busiest entrance into the city due to the high number of commoner foot traffic entering and leaving the city to work the fields nearby. The citizens of the Amber District squabble with the Ruby District citizens over petty arguments over who is better.
The Cotton Bridge separates the feuding districts and provides a well defined buffer zone.
The Dwarves have a stronger presence in this district and run several warehouses which hold precious Dwarven resources.
Industry & Trade
This slum is mostly dominated by Southside Capital Importers, a shipping company. They have been buying plots of land all over this district, to demolish homes and make more warehouses.
Guilds and Factions
There is a large group of Dwarves in this part of the city, near the water. They have several warehouses, as well as a large structure that doubles as a temple to their god, Zaprodan and a bank, owned by the Banking Guild.
History
There was a riot called the Red River Riot several years ago as tensions grew among the citizens of the Amber and Ruby Districts.
