The Domino

The Domino is an underground organization that provides order and stability to the unruly streets of Emerald Bay, by protecting the slums of The Topaz District. They mostly operate in the sewer systems, using it to quickly traverse the bustling city streets, gathering and listening to secrets and lining their pockets in The Emerald District.

Structure

Dom:

Often misunderstood and misinterpreted as The Domino himself, Dominic Belton is a halfling and the founder of the secret group. He was born in the slums of the Topaz District and has worked his way into prominence. He is a figure of inspiration and joy to the downtrodden and weary of the city. He is very famous for his charity work with the orphanages ran by the city. He watches and listens to everything going on in the city. If anyone needs information, he is the first stop, inside or outside of the law.

Cord:

A lithe and lanky tabaxi named Cord is Dom's best friend and his second in command. He is an expert of stealth and espionage. He is also an expert thief and assassin. He spent his youth as a mercenary in the desert port of Zeran with his twin sister. He is hotheaded but jovial and friendly in nature, always looking for a competitive wager to make things a little more interesting.
He is currently searching the city for members of a ally gang, The Crimson Cloaks.

Vivian:

The wise older twin, Vivian is a calmer voice of reason than her brother and Dom, often steering The Domino towards loftier goals. She is an expert at manipulation and trickery. She has worked her way into several households, posing as a serving maid, thus searching the Emerald District, and gathering important rumors and gossip. She is an expert marksman with her powerful bow.
She is hard to track down, and is a master of disguise, slipping in and out of characters all day as she moves through the city.

Forlyons Shipping Corporation is owned by twins Reese and Remus Forlyons. They were sailors in the Var'Zumoris Rebellion, and opened up a shipping company after they retired. Now they make a little extra smuggling goods for The Domino, fencing stolen items, and bringing illegal weapons and drugs into the capital.

The Goldfinches are the enforcers and muscle, used to carry out jobs that are more dangerous and require brute strength for the Domino. This a gang of mercenaries is led by a halfling barbarian known as Hobbes Goldfinch.

The Street Sharks are the eyes and ears of the Domino, gathering information on rival gangs, criminal activity, and other events in the city. Because they grew up in the city, they are experts in the art of blending into the shadows, making them almost invisible in the night.

Territories

The Domino operates all over Emerald Bay, but their presence is strongest in The Topaz District. They are currently trying to eradicate a group called The Black Hand, and broaden their territory to include The Amber District and rest of the city.
