Lazanan (Lah-zah-nahn)
South of the jungle rises up into a savannah highland which makes up the home of the Lazani. Its northern border is shared with Eternia, who they despise and so there is always the potential for skirmish or battle on the border. Also, like Eternia, their western and eastern borders are the Actean and Amasha Seas, respectively. The eastern and western borders meet in the south, closed off by large, snow-capped mountain peaks that become Cape Akalo.
The Capital of Doloko is not as splendorous or large as Asene, but for the Lazani it is impressive. It is located near the Western coast of Lazanan, on the Zhavala Delta. The structures built in the city have a more natural feel to them, created through the Lazani magical commune with nature. The walls are made of river stone.
Though the Lazani are not as technological as the Eternia, the magic they have utilized to increase their strength and physical prowess through charms and bangles, as well as their ability to attune with the great beasts that roam the savannas, have allowed them to hold their own against the might of the Eternian’s technological constructs.
Like their Eternian cousins, the females are stronger in their magic, and this has led to a more matriarchal society in the south. Lazanan is ruled by an Akan (chief) by the name of Khali. She is believed to be the chosen of Dharwyn and expected to lead the Lazani into victory against the Eternians.
