Humans compose the majority of Erlyse’s civilized race population, and have been the dominant species for most of recorded history. At one time, the Nal’tua held the position at the top of the societal hierarchy, but after a major calamity occurred to which actual details have been lost to time, humans surpassed them and now control the world economies and most cultures. Humans are ambitious, dedicated and resilient, and quite adaptable with their means of ingenuity.
