Session 2

Expedition

Clearing the beach and getting the banner made (people getting less sure about Salvestro)

The party went to the beach where there were reports of terrible creatures eating strays and found out that there were very large crabs that had taken up residence on the beach. Salvestro said that this was strange because they should be out in the ocean. He asked them what they were doing up there and they told him that the water was dangerous and the water was attacking them. Salvestro went to prove them wrong, he patted the water and said that the water wouldn't hurt them. Then the water hurt him. The party fought a Water Weird and the crabs said that it had showed up about the same time as a strange lady that came to the water. The team steaked it out, it was a Water Hag. The party killed her and the crabs agreed to go back to the water. Salvestro may or may not be feeding these crabs murder victims from local gangs.   Salvestro offered to speak Kings of the Fisherman District about shipments not arriving at Silas and Son Sail Making. Silas Jr. was not paying the protection money that they felt he owed, possibly money that his father had owed before his death, so they were blocking his shipments. Once they found out that he was working for Vanryell they were more than welcoming and agreed to let the shipments start arriving even if he didn't pay his back debt. The party grew more concerned.
