Council of Life
At the time of Evera's creation, dragons lived in this world. The mighty Dragon Goddess called new deities into her world, who began shape it and populate it with new creatures. The Dragon Goddess assigned tasks to some dragons to help the gods work. Thus, the Greendragons became the patrons of the creatures of the goddess Narmiraen.
When the jungle first sprouted on the continent of Damus, a few Greendragons settled in the area to teach and support the Surta elf community that had been created here. They formed the first druidic circle, which even then bore the name of the "Council of Life".
The Greendragons worshiped only the Dragon Goddess, but accepted the Elves' attachment to their creator goddess. They where taught fairy magic and how to live in balance with they environment. The only source of conflict in the beginning stemmed from the fact that Elves had always remained children in the eyes of the Dragons.
Everything changed, when Vangrakath created the Segai beastman on the southern region of the continent. The newcomers were aggressive and did not accept the teachings of the Greendragons. They lived only by fighting and hunting. Jomril tried in vain to prevent the expansion of the Beastman, by rising the craters he condemned the entire continent to destruction. Along with the fire and ash, the ancient enemies of the Greendragons, the Firedragons, also appeared, making a homestead in the burned-out countryside.
The peaceful, instructive days of the Council where over. They wage a standing war against the destruction, working to restore the peace and balance of the continent. Many of the Dragons and their Elf apprentices have already fallen in this terrible struggle. However the Greendragons belive in the power and strength of their Goddess and they have many followers behind them: mainly Bena elves, but also Segai and Bugit beastman, who owe their lives to the druids.
The followers of the Council are loyal to their masters and the Great Mother who presides over the Arboretum.
