Tooloo Falls

Tooloo Falls is a regional city in Tuz Gold which has a population of about 35000 people. It is situated on the bank of the Falls that separate 2 lakes on the Nearing River. Its unique location facilitated the building of a falls bypass river that allows river trade to be manhandled up or down the river so avoiding the falls. Boats can not traverse the river but are unloaded on the upstream or downstream docks and manhandled on barges up or down the river to be re-loaded on new ships at the other end.
This has given the town great wealth as it has been able to tax every bit of river trade that passes through the city.
There are also 4 security towers on the river that give the town a great security advantage and is a defence stronghold on the river.

Demographics

The main profession in Tooloo Falls is related to the river trade. The Barge Guild controls the transfer of all trade up and down the river through Tooloo falls that link the upper and lower lakes. They are also managers of the docks and the city markets. There are some regional government offices in the city and several trade colleges making it a centre for vocational studies. The Temple of TooLoo is also a large institution in the city situated on the South-west side of the city.

Government

The government offices are centred in the city Keep that is to be found on the island part of Tooloo between the waterfalls and the trade river. There is also a city mayor and 6 counsellors.

The Trade River is protected by 4 fortress towers at their entrances and the city has a keep.
