Sweetie
The woman known only as Sweetie was once the most coveted lay in all of Westside, now she is the matriarch of the most pwerful and sadistic Gang in New Vegas, the 40th Street Demons. Born in Westside, Sweetie was a whore who worked her way up to joining the girls employed at Gomorrah, in the days when the Omertas den of sin was the only place to find such services when Vegas was in its infancy. She quickly realized the trap that the mobsters used to enslave the sex workers there, by providing alcohol and chems freely, and then charging once they were hooked, they ensured dependency, and a larger cut of the earnings. Sweetie left, and returned to Westside, taking up employement in a local brothel that was just getting off the ground. This brothel grew in fame and revenue, in no small part to Sweetie, who earned the moniker "Best Lay Outside of Gomorrah" and enjoyed it all.
When her Brothel's madam died, Sweetie talked her way into ownership, and with many of the local men wrapped around her finger, she formed a close-knit circle of loyal footsoldiers. Sex work was joined by drug running, chem dealing, and finally murder, and the 40th Street Demons became the first true gang to rise from the ashes of Robert House's fallen regime, and seize the freedom offered by the new man in charge: the Courier. As her criminal empire grew so did her clientelle, which slowly started to change her brothel with their requests. By 2290, it was known as "Sweetie's" a place where BDSM and genuine depravity were on full display wherever you looked. Along with this shift in surroundings, came a shift in morality, as more and more crime brought more caps, Sweetie allowed her boys to do more and more in terms of actions, and before long it was anything goes. Sweetie appears to be unfazed by the public torture, murder, and arson that the Demons commit; and what was meant to be a play on the term "Sex Demons" changed to become literal demons from hell, feared by everyone. This eventually lead to competition for Sweetie, in the form of the 39th Street Cats and the 19's, who both battle her vehemetly for control of Westside, and to simply kill her Demons, who are seen as a plague upon everyone and thing.
Despite how her boys act, Sweetie's background makes her unable to treat her working girls the same way, and all the prostitutes in her club are kept clean from chems, protected from unwanted violence, and above all, are not forced to work there. To this end the one and only thing besides herself that her boys are taught to protect and revere, are the girls, and any customer who crosses that line is usually tortured out front...slowly.
