Omertas
the Omertas are a crime family based out of the Gomorrah hotel and casino, and one of the ruling families of New Vegas. The Ometas are regarded as the weakest of these ruling families, having lost a large portion of their founders in 2281 by the Courier, due to the family's imminent alignment with Caesar's Legion. They were put in check after the founding of the Free Economic Zone of the Mojave, until 2294, when the Castelli Family allegedly assassinated their boss, Cachino. Since then they Omertas have been in an internal power struggle, which has barely been kept out of the public eye, so as not to damage their revenue from their casino.
