Abyss Striders

Origins

No matter the era, in war, information is vital to victory. The residents of Kilvas would be decimated if they blindly waited for opposing forces to invade. It is for this reason that the Abyss Striders were formed.
Abyss Striders are the eyes and ears of Kilvas, taking the role of scouts, guides, and spies, in order to provide their allies with the necessary information on whatever threats may be coming. Abyss Striders venture deep behind enemy lines, relying solely on their skills and wits in order to evade detection and survive the inevitably brutal fights.

Present

In the modern era, the Abyss Striders now serve as highly skilled scouting and reconnaissance forces. Their operations mainly take place outside of the city walls, monitoring hostile forces such as bandit and raiding groups, as well as particularly dangerous groups of creatures that roam the wild. However, they do have a presence within the city, taking on more covert operations when necessary.
The Abyss Strider's members consist primarily of Prowlers and Blood Hunters from the Order of the Mutant or Lycan who have returned from their Pilgramage.
