The Hizard

One of the twelve peoples that comprise The Gerrean Covenant , and one of the more populous

Pre-Covenant

Due to their rapid reproductive cycles, the Hizard began exploring their neigbhouring planets in 185.520, when it became clear that their homeworld would soon be overwhelmed. They quickly established themselves on three neighbouring worlds. Their population expanded rapidly as they began positive diplomatic relations with several other peoples.

The Gerran Covenant

After a string of devastating wars and attacks by peoples outside of their system, the Hizard called in their allies in a discussion that led to the formation of The Gerrean Covenant. Effectively the most powerful of the peoples of the Covenant, their leader became the first Gerr Prime, and set the tone for the position.
With the creation of the Covenant, the Hizard began a three year mandatory military service. This resulted in them being able to field the largest army in the Covenant. When the Covenant engages in open war, Hizard soldiers are always involved.
