Foundation
In 198.109, the various human countries of Worle finally agree that in order to find their place in Known Space, they have to unite under one banner. Initially a complex Federation of countries attempting to make decisions together, they eventually integrated together into a coherent polity and 198.180, the Republic of Worle is finally born.Pre-Covenant
Expansion
Over the first few centuries of its united exploration of space, the Republic of Worle discovers a great many of their neighbours, including The Hizard and The Kurk Admiralty. Together, they form progressive and fruitful economic treaties and technological exchanges.Alexander Harkan
A fervent opponent to the Republic of Worle was Alexander Harkan. after a great many attempts by the Republic to silence him, he eventually flees off world, inviting anyone who would to follow him. In 199.290, followed by around a million of the Republic's citizens, he discovers and colonizes Harkan's World.The Covenant
In 198.980, after the War of Heaven, the Republic of Worle was in shambles. With casualties in the billions, a destroyed navy and most of its infrastructure ruined, it obviously welcomed aid from its neighbours. The aid came with a catch, the Republic had to join the forming Gerrean Covenant. A minor world in the grand scheme of the Covenant, they are dependent on the shared economic policies and federal aids to keep their economy afloat. With [Calcurtha now destroyed, it is the most crime ridden world of the Covenant.WarMongers
After their integration into the covenant, a group of radical isolationists called the WarMongers began to lead devastating terrorist campaigns on the Republic, in an attempt to get it to leave the Covenant. Calling on its neighbours for aid, the Republic soon saw elite Hizard troops landing on its grounds. The allied force shattered the under-equipped terrorists and pushed them off world.Harkan's World
In 199.896, the now prosperous Harkan Republic declared war on the The Gerrean Covenant. In 199.902, in spite of protests from the Republic of Worle, the planet was neutron bombed and the war ended.
