Bogfen

The Swamp/marshlands are teeming with life, a domain which Bogfen rules and cares over to ensure it does not become rife of invasive species and fauna. While caring for terrestrials and aquatic alike, most of her worships originate from the Ribaultians who have migrated in and out of her domain for millenniums.

Forms of worship

Most worship takes place at shrines constructed in her honor, often made of Swamp wood built on top of freshwater. Usually fruit, fish, and gemstones are sacrificed/offered at her shrines. Most have shrine-keepers who tend the property and land around it to ensure passage is safe for anyone to visit, as well as accepting and sorting donations.

History

After the Maddening Dream which drove Molmokk mad, Bogfen at some point was fertilized and given part of his newfound powers, though with the ability to resist his madness, she was able to escape his ire and flee to start her own life.
Ribaultians believe that Bogfen created the Swamplands through a conversion ritual to allow for safe passage of freshwater fish to both have a homely place away from a constant flowing stream of a river, but also for insects to cultivate and act as a food source for the local wildlife. Slowly, other beings and powers emerged from these new lands granting Bogfen a realm of her own, though often fractured all across Sigom, it was expected for most in the past to freely travel and visit the lands of her creation and enjoy their beauty.

Relationships

WogSnip at one point sought out to court Bogfen and threw a feast for all gods and demigods to attend. He had eaten too many Grognuts upsetting his digestive tract, causing uncontrollable flatulation for the rest of the night. Despite taking up a disguise as a simple servant at the end of the feast, Bogfen had recognized him through the disguise. She had approached him to start a conversation and to thank him for the successful festival he put together. After realizing his disguise did not work, he broke down in tears and promptly left the festival.     Bogfen is the daughter of Molmokk
