The Men-at-Arms of the lowlands of the Skanler Duchy
The army of the lowlands is currently made up of two detachments.
The first was initially formed as an honour guard for Duchess Jaenis Skanler to escort her to Bayglen Castle, then travelled to join ser Allon's forces in Southbay to help in his action against House Darklyn of Darklyn Point.
The second, larger detachment was formed of those forces who gathered at the edge of The Skanler Duchy's lands under the advice of ser Allon.

History
The first detachment of the lowlands coalition was present at The Battle of Eastcross supporting ser Allon Southbay in his campaign against the forces of House Darklyn of Darklyn Point. They performed admirably, with Lord Carreth Conklyn earning a Knighthood on the field from ser Allon Southbay for the skill with which he led the men under his command, turning the charge of The Queensbloods into a disastrous rout.
At The Battle of Blackmyre Castle the Lowlands contingent fought on the right flank alongside the forces of House Winthrop of Hess Hall. They were the most successful of the three engagement areas of the battle, putting the Baycotte Swampers arrayed against them to rout with no significant losses on their own side.
Following the victory at The Battle of Blackmyre Castle the second detachment of the lowlands coaltion joined the first, allowing them to bring a much larger force to bear in future engagements.
