In Search of Glory
Once, there was a warrior of the Tojo - a young man of no renown, taken from the ruins of a raid as a babe. Raised in the ways of honour and duty, he sought to prove himself as many do in that bloody Clan. Yet they all took the same risks, and won the same glory whenever they marched.
So to distinguish himself, he resolved to travel to the Maw, the land beyond the Teeth, and slay one of the great beasts that prowled there. He set off north, to the base of the Teeth, and on the road met a hunter, a man of the Yomei with knowledge of what he sought. A plea was voiced, the Warrior knowing he would need a Wayfinder to guide his steps in a strange land. The Wayfinder, young himself, saw a chance to prove his skills alongside those of the Warrior, and agreed.
It would be in a tavern in Aoki that the pair would meet their third, the Chronicler of the Uematsu.
