Merakesh has a bath

While Merakesh is having a bath and sobering up, Eli, Balthazar and Dougal all visit his room to discuss his absence from the group.

She swallowed and connected her eyes with his. “I thought you might be hungry, so I brought you some food,” she moved her head in the direction of a small plate just out of reach which contained some bread, cheese, grapes, and a large gap where Merakesh assumed the red apple had been. She took another big bite, crunched it a bit and swallowed, all the while Merakesh sat in silence. “We all know this time is tough for you each year, but it seems like you’ve had a more eventful day than usual.” Her smile faded and she moved the apple away from her face. Eli’s tone changed, there was something almost accusatory in it. “Your bruises and cut-up face look like you could have done with our help.”   Eli discusses the days events he had missed, and warns him of the wanted posters found. Balthazar interrupts and finds the cresent moon stone. There is a tense moment where Eli starts to question how Balthazar is involved in Merakesh's past.   After the the two leave, and Merakesh finishes his bath, he is visited by Dougal who punches him several times and tries to pick a fight. The two talk their issues out and are agree to move forward together.
