Era beginning/end
The Age of the Old Folk and their various deeds, before their mysterious disappearance.
First arriving in Heimland in 2 million DE, the Old Folk, led by Vijaya (son of Areop-Enap, who children were said to become the first Vedda) proceeded to interact with the native Yea'haa'weh and, before long, proceeded to battle with them in 1.5 million DE. A few centuries later, the Yea’haa’weh and their primitive Bái-Hǔ cousins joined forces to defend their home, but all in vain as their opponents had better weapons than them. When they lost their country they chose to stay behind in protest and were slaughtered in the millions by the Folk until they eventually retreated into the Heimish-Forests in 1 million DE. A few thousand years later, in 800,000 DE the Folk made the cities of Thetmis and Disra and built their first machine, Patrick-the-Engine who would later power all the factories they would build. It was during this time that the Folk first encountered the Indagarians. The merciless species were slaughtering Yea'haa'weh and Old Folk alike at rapid rates, invading their villages and stealing their women. Finally this prompted the Folk to use their first atomic-weapon, Big-Kahuna, on the city of Indagar in 799,050 DE. The aftermath resulted in the creation of the monstrous Surakh who, after forming the city of Surakhnit, left for Raginwald and attacked the Cities in 798,550 DE. This prompted the Folk to drop their second and last atomic-bomb, Big-Bahama, on Raginwald where the Surakh were hiding. This resulted in the creation of the Drekkin. After the bombing, the remaining Surakh retreated back to Surakhnit, where they would not show their faces until 1 AE, when the folk vanished. There was then an era of peace, which lasted until 2 AE. There were a few battles here and there, such as the conflict between the Indagarians and Yea'haa'weh. It was during the era of peace, the Golden-Age, when the Folk started making machines in their factories. The most notable factory is the Fortress-of-Sienna (The Factory) which was the main production-unit of the Folk. In 797,950 DE, the Folk proceeded to make multiple buildings all across Heimland. These included museums, sky-scrapers and charging-stations from the machines, who were starting to spread. It was also were "Augment-Stations" (places where normal Folk and other races could pay to receive mechanical implants) were built. From the Augment-Stations came the first cyborgs, that still roam Heimland today. A place known as the Harbor where the Folk once maintained trade-routes with those from the Tagaloa was built. The Threrkens were created by the Folk to assist them in building the factories and machines, and they still exist today in small numbers. From the city of Tarawong in the Harbor came the bandits, a nameless race of rowdy giants that stole from Folk on the roads. This led to the Folk building the Mechs, massive hulking masses of metal at least 60 tons in weight. It is said that the Peacekeepers followed the Mechs. The folk used "Moona" to power their factories and run their vehicles. It was during this time, in 597,950 DE, they were able to cure cancer and travel to the moon, where they also built cities. All was well. But then in 597,949 DE, a 1000 year-long Dark-Age proceeded, during which many kings of the Old Folk were selected and died, which continued until 596,949 DE when the Black-Tower was first starting to be built. The Old Folk finally made the Tower, a massive turret reaching up to the sky. Six million thanna (one thanna being 360 miles) in height and 20 thanna in width, the massive object was the last thing to be made by the Old Folk until their disappearance in 1 AE. It is said that the humanoids that remained, the only remaining descendants of the Folk apart from the Vedda, were the common people, who were said to have originated from Vedda that left the forests in 60,000 DE and devolved into common people. After 10 AE, they proceeded to populate the entire Heimland within 40 years.
