When your luck has run out, when you have hit the bottom so hard your teeth have been knocked loose, when you are at your wits’ end, there is only one place to flee; The Copper Alleys. A cesspool of poverty, disease, crime and premature deaths, The Copper Alleys have only gotten worse since the Quarantine. No city guards would dare venture into the district and “an honest day’s work” in this district merely means not murdering anyone. There’s no single authority in the Copper Alleys, but criminal organizations jostle for control of their territories even as the mystical Loa offer people a measure of protection - At a price.
Yet, for every person the Copper Alleys gulps down and spits out broken, someone comes out of it stronger than before. Those few who prosper in the blood stained darkness of the Copper Alleys are inevitably bad business to mess with.
