Gea'Bronzarani Zenni
Bronzar's son, Zenni, is the only child living at the
Imperial Palace. The small apartments above the palace garage are usually inhabited by single employees: cooks, maids, chauffeurs, and security guards like his father. Bronzar does his best to raise him, but Zenni still gets lonely and bored.
His mother,
Izenra, hated parenthood and didn't try to hide it. The stricken look on four-year-old Zenni's face when she said she wished he'd never been born was the catalyst for Bronzar to ask for a divorce. She moved away as soon as the paperwork was done, and Zenni hasn't seen or heard from her since. He's old enough now to know it wasn't his fault, but is still bitter. Every birthday that passes without even a card from Izenra hurts, even when he tries not to get his hopes up. He loves his dad a lot, but often wonders what it would be like to have a mom who actually wanted him.
All these big emotions mean Zenni sometimes gets too mischievous for his own good. The palace is full of opportunities to get into trouble--priceless vases to break, meetings to interrupt, fountains for wading and throwing rocks--and at one time or another he's gotten into it all.
Zenni's least disruptive past-time is the
Captain Comet Show. He faithfully watches the cartoon every afternoon, even if he's seen the episode nine times already, and treasures his collection of action figures. He daydreams about making cartoons or movies someday, himself.

History
Bronzar had looked forward to fatherhood for awhile, but when Zenni was born it was even better than he thought it would be. Whether it was buying and setting up a toy train, taking him to the playground, nursing him through sickness, or chasing away monsters under the bed, Bronzar threw all of himself into being the best dad he could be. Since Zenni's mother, Izenra, was uninterested in parenting at best, and resentful at worst, Bronzar's involvement was even more crucial.
The pain of his mother's rejection still haunts Zenni, but he adores his dad and knows how lucky he is to have him. Bronzar's busy schedule makes it increasingly challenging to spend quality time with his son, but it's a high priority so he always finds a way, even if it takes some personal sacrifice.
Bronzar is a stickler for rules, especially where safety is concerned. He has to consciously pull back sometimes to avoid smothering Zenni. He can be quite stern when he needs to discipline his son, but never unfair or mean-spirited. Zenni also knows that his dad thinks the world of him and won't stay angry for long.
