Sorbek, God of the Sun, Light, and Fire

Sorbek is a deity whose domain encompasses stars, light, and fire. He is able to control flame, and is known as the father of humanity for the role he played in their creation. It is said that humans inherited Sorbek's tenacity and drive, a gift he gave them which allowed them to survive. He is the third leader of the Council of the Ring, a title previously held by Oculus, the God of Foresight and the Future and Adonn before him.

History

Sorbek and Dorial possess powerful domains which oppose one another, similar to The Mother and The Raven Queen. Unlike the twins, however, Sorbek and Dorial formed at separate times and in separate places in the Astralverse. In the time before the formation of the Base World, Lokuncalm (now known as Kindevion), Sorbek and Dorial used their powerful domains to shape worlds in their image. Eventually, they found one another, and a great battle ensued. Fortunately, they were unable to defeat one another, and eventually decided to form a partnership. This partnership soon blosumed into love. Their union was the first step in the formation of the Council of the Ring. Two centuries after the founding of the Base World, Sorbek and Dorial consumated their mariage by combining their power to form a new diety, their child Genonia, Goddess of Duality and Justice.
