Ring of Divinity

The oldest organized religion in Kindevion, the Ring of Divinity is a polytheistic religion centering around the worship of eight particular dieties, who together make up the Council of the Ring. The dieties in question are as follows:

• Adonn, God of Storms and Victory
• Argath, Goddess of Travel and Companionship
• The Raven Queen, Goddess of Birth and Death
• The Mother, Goddess of Life and the Harvest
• Sorbek, God of the Sun, Light, and Fire
• Dorial, Goddess of the Moon, Darkness, and Ice
• Genonia, Deity of Duality and Justice
• The Traveler, Deity of Change and Peace

While these are not the only gods the worshipers, called Divinites, believe in, they are the ones who are credited with the creation of Kindevion and guiding it through history. The Divinites believe in the sanctity of a holy text known as the Scroll of Divinity, which describes the Divinites interpretation of the Celestials' commandments and the afterlife. Many Divinites choose to worship only a single diety, and temples dedicated to these dieties can be found across Kindevion. Filsa, the capitol of Brilon, serves as the religious hub for this organization.
The Divinites believe that Kindevion has always existed and will always exist; they do not think there was a creation. They also believe that, when they die, their souls will join the gods in their personal domains, where they will serve them in eternal life.
