Eldoria
The First Mortal Empire of Eldoria, more simply known as Eldoria was the first and to current knowledge most advanced mortal empire to exist in Korrisia. A beacon of civilization, invention, and magical prowess, the Eldorian Empire spanned almost the entire globe, and had many client states across the Multiverse. The Eldorian Empire would meet its end not by outside enemies, but in an instant the empire and its people would vanish by a single command.
Ruled by the unnamed First Emperor, Eldoria rose during the time of the Twin Gods and in only a few centuries had mastered the Winds of Magic, crafted powerful and unique artifacts that still effect change on a cosmic scale in the present era, and still holds prominence by today's scholars.
The Empire would endure through many crises, most notably the grand betrayal of the progenitor god Kormund against his brother Garenthar. Where the Empire would meet its end was during the rise of Vecna and his war with Imrys. The rivalry between the two Lich Lords would eventually find its way to the gates of the Imperial Capitol, Eldoria.
With the aid of his Magelord, advisor, and dearest friend Myrddin, the Capitol would in its entirety be ripped from the earth and teleported out of the Material Plane somewhere deep in the Astral Sea to hide from their foes. With Vecna killed during Kas' betrayal, nothing stood in the way to halt Imrys from taking his prize, the power of the Eldorians. In a moment of sheer desperation and love for his people, the First Emperor spoke for the last time, echoing out into the cosmos a command which in a single instant vaporized every Eldorian and destroyed every city, castle, temple, and structure, reducing the greatest empire to a husk in mere seconds.
