Humans: Overview

There are ten different ancestries of human on Summer's Tale, depending mostly on the region of origin. Certainly humans of different origin have spread all over the world and can be found anywhere. Some ancestries more widely populate the world, suvh as the Tessinae (contrasted to the Bairen people, who usually stay in their own Nation). One thing to remember: There are always some exception among humans, whether it be land of birth, or mixed ancestries. (The latter are especially common in places of larger population.)   So here are the ancestries for player characters. Common backgrounds and classes are from the Pathfinder 2e system, but they can be readily translated if necessary. Talk to your DM for more geographical or cultural information.

In the rugged land of Bair, the people are more stocky and heavy set, and often grim. Some have jokingly described them as giant dwarves, as they often grow their red-brown beards and/or long hair in braids. Bairen skin color is pale, and eyes are often green or blue. The Bairn people live in a Nation of tribes and clans, which despite their fierce inside loyalty have banded together for mutual cooperation and defense. They have been successful in all things, in their isolated and relatively safe geographical and biological environment. They are a dark-skinned people, often wearing their black hair long and tightly braided. They are tall and strongly built, with piercing brown eyes.  Their history is exceptional, as they came across rough seas in search their new home in Northern Dreamsgate.  Some of their people still dwell as hunter-gatherers on the continent of Snowfell.
