Phobos
Phobos, the larger and inner moon of Mars, is a heavily cratered, oblong-shaped object with a mean radius of approximately 11 kilometers. This moon, which orbits Mars at a distance of just 9,377 kilometers, is believed to be a captured asteroid and is slowly spiraling inward due to tidal interactions with the planet.
Phobos has been the site of extensive scientific research and exploration by the Lumens, who have established a permanent base on the moon's surface to study its geology, composition, and potential for resource extraction. The low gravity and close proximity to Mars make Phobos an ideal location for launching and receiving spacecraft, and the moon serves as a vital hub for interplanetary transportation and communication.
