The Asinkori

History

The Asinkori are a splinter faction of the Paratrites, originating from a disagreement within the ancient elven druidic circle. While the Paratrites seek to maintain a balance between civilization and nature, the Asinkori have taken a more radical stance, embracing the primacy of nature and the goddess Larocia, the Mother of Beasts. Unlike the The Paratrites , who believe in the coexistence and harmony of all ancestries, the Asinkori advocate for nature's dominance over civilization. They view the encroachment of humanoid races as a blight upon the natural world and believe that nature should reclaim its sovereignty, with beasts reigning supreme.   The Asinkori draw their inspiration and devotion from the goddess Larocia, who embodies the wild and untamed aspects of the natural world. They venerate her as the ultimate arbiter of balance and believe that by honoring her, they can restore the primal order and ensure the triumph of the untamed forces of nature.   In their pursuit of this ideology, the Asinkori strive to disrupt and dismantle human settlements, advocating for the rewilding of lands previously claimed by civilization. They see themselves as agents of nature's wrath, seeking to restore equilibrium by unleashing the power of the wild upon the encroaching realms of mortals.   The Asinkori's methods often involve summoning and communing with the more ferocious and primal creatures of Maeon, utilizing their power to strike fear and chaos into the hearts of humanoids. They specialize in ancient and forbidden druidic practices, harnessing the forces of nature to unleash devastating spells and curses upon those they perceive as threats to the natural order.   Their gatherings and rituals are conducted in secluded locations deep within the wilderness, hidden from the prying eyes of outsiders. These locations are actually rifts in meaon that lead to a very primal and vicious side of the Fey Wild. The Asinkori maintain a network of these secretive sanctuaries, where they plot and plan their actions against human civilization, always seeking opportunities to disrupt and reclaim territory in the name of nature.   While The Paratrites and the Asinkori share a common ancestry and knowledge base, their fundamental divergence in beliefs has led to a stark division between the two factions. The Asinkori are seen by many as extremists, pushing the boundaries of the elven druidic tradition and challenging the notion of balance upheld by their counterparts.   Despite their radical stance, the Asinkori possess a deep understanding of the intricate workings of nature and draw upon ancient druidic rituals and practices to further their cause. They serve as a constant reminder that the forces of nature are not always benevolent, and that the wild can be a formidable and untamable power when unleashed upon those who defy its dominance.
