Vordak
Vordaks are evil, silicon based creatures who have grey skin and are skeletal in appearance despite having flesh. As Undead lieutenants of the Darklands , they generally wear red robes and have the Psionic Talent , most commonly Telepathy Discipline . These undead creatures were the first to be summoned and controlled by Vashna during his early experiments in the dungeons of Helgedad. Their skeletal bodies were formed around crystals of power called Vordak Gems and when they are destroyed they revert back to this crystal state.
Vordaks are highly intelligent, and there are many individual variations between them. They often act as lieutenants in Darklord armies and control Drakkarim regiments.

Basic Information
Anatomy
Vordaks are created from the profaned bodies of humans. This leads them to all have the range of shapes associated with Human.
Biological Traits
The Vordak gem implanted in the chest of each Vorday, constantly works to reconstruct and heal any damage suffered by a Vordak.
- Vordak regenerate 2 pts of Body per turn
- Vordak all have the Psionic Talent perk at the 10 pt level.
- Vordak have at least a single 40 pt multipower in a Psionic Talent with Telepathy Discipline being the most common.
- Vordak have at least 10 pts of Mental Defense
- Vordak have both a resistant physical and energy defense of 3
- Vordak have a Speed of 3, a Dexterity of 17, and a running speed of 7"
Genetics and Reproduction
Vordaks have no natural means of reproduction. They are crafted through the implantation of a Vordak Gem into a human corpse. The gem is inserted, in place of the heart, and the Gem extends itself throughout the body through the use of silica based crystals. The knowledge of how to create Vordak Gems, and how to use them to create Vordaks, is held by the Nadziranim in the Darklands.
Dietary Needs and Habits
Helghasts are undead and are thus not subject to normal biological needs. They do not age, require oxygen, or food or water

Vordak experience no biological cycles. They do not eat, drink, sleep, or age. The necromantic magic that spawns them, sustains them.

Vordak have Infravision, and can navigate perfectly well in total darkness.
Civilization and Culture
History
A group of Nadziranim created the process of crafting Vordaks, and delivered this information to Vashna in MS 3461. Since then, Vordak habe been used as commanders in the field for Darklands armies. They drive both Giak and Drakkarim into battle, and have proven more reliable than Gourgaz performing the same duties.
