Inferno 34: "Inferno"

General Summary

Returning to Materia, the party considers their options regarding their poisoning. Opting to confront Lilith, Marius calls upon Fredrika and Hel, and barters for the Talisman of Pure Good from Aglin. After getting ready for the confrontation, the party heads to Dis, which is besieged by demons. After meeting Lilith in her garden, tense negotiations follow.
Lilith reveals that Tamiko was demoted by her back to being an imp. Opting for violence instead of signing a suspicious contract with Lilith, Bianca attacks along with the rest of the party. With Tiamat passified by Fredrika's intervention, the party fights to a narrow victory, with Bianca capturing Lilith's soul without destroying her entirely. Meeting back at the Extabeltza estate in Leon, the party reflects on their adventures, and Anton urges Bianca to rest. Asaala presents Bianca with Lilith's soul and with Tamiko's future. Bianca opts to let her work her way up from the lowest rank of the hells once again, and to enjoy her own life with Viola at the Bastion.
