Kamuishi

Kamuishi is a large central city in Hokutani. It is currently ruled by Lord Hanako Fujiwara.

Location

Kamuishi is on the Kamui river. It is a natural population center due to its central location within Hokutani and due to its vast available irrigation for surrounding farmlands.

History

Kamuishi was originally settled by a small number of Elves fleeing the Shou-Elvish Wars. Its modern incarnation came about much later as Humans settled the extent of Hokutani and began to intermingle with the existing elvish population, gradually coming to outnumber them. Kamuishi has historically served as the seat of a series of minor theocratic polities on the west side of the Kunishoji and West Kamui rivers primarily in the Shou sphere of influence.
