Lucius Florus

Lucius Florus was a Sword Saint serving the Anzai Dynasty in the Shou Empire. Formerly a famed fighter in the pits of Ascanopolis, Lucius eventually traveled West and earned the Sword Saint title in the Shou Empire. Lucius is known for his imposing height (6'6") and stature, with rumors suggesting no man or dragonborn alive has ever bested him in a contest of strength.

Life and Past

Little is known of Lucius's past, other than that he allegedly grew up poor in the Ascalon Empire, and traveled to Ascanopolis while a teenager. Already taller than most fighters there, he willingly joined the gladiatorial pit fights in the city, eventually amassing significant wealth and prestige as an established fighter.
Fighting against Lucius was popularly considered a death sentence, and he won the favor and admiration of favor of many influential figures in the city through his many victories, including the Emperor. However, his merciless and brutal fighting style drew some criticism, alongside allegations of being a forceful womanizer.
