What Do We Know?

Nax has been seen by the party only as a female presenting elf. However, based on overheard conversation between archmages, it is likely they are actually a changeling. The two forms we know them to take are the current female presenting elf and their previously frequently used form of a tiefling. They can be seen with a "third eye" tatoo on their forehead and were last seen with a gray dress that slowly faded to gold as you looked down the dress. Nax is known to be the current Archmage of Transmutation for the Arcane Academy and the House of the Arcane in the northern city of Thaneas. Other than that, very little is known about them including what their true form really is, whether or not they are actually a changeling, alongside many other things.
