Downtown

Downtown Miami is a busy shopping area with cultural and event venues. During the day, the open-air malls, department stores and jewelry shops are busy with foot traffic, while at night, crowds descend on the American Airlines Arena for Miami Heat basketball games and big-name concerts. The Adrienne Arsht Center  hosts the Miami City Ballet and Florida Grand Opera, and the Pérez Art Museum shows contemporary art.   The area is a cultural, financial, and commercial center of South Florida, tracing its present-day history back to the 19th century. In recent years, Downtown Miami has grown and physically expanded to become the fastest-growing area in Miami, with rapid increase in population and the greatest concentration of high-rises in the region.   Downtown is a spot of contention, with no Bishop having control of it, as of yet. Archbishop Luis Miguel de Mendoza has direct control of its goings ons for now, but word is he is looking for a suitable leader for the district.   TzimisceNosferatu, and Lasombra enjoy the anonymity and ease of finding victims who won't be missed, while Toreador and Ventrue find the commercial and cultural hub to their liking. In other words, to all but the Brujah and the Gangrel, Downtown is a wonderful spot to build your haven.   Changelings thrive in areas with many people - glamour, of course, comes from such tourists and actress wannabes. But the most common in Downtown are the redcaps, who like the shadows that hide them in the crowd, the sidhe, and the satyrs.
