SC '24 Reading Challenge

And that's a wrap!

SC'24 went better than I hoped for. Despite some unexpected circumstances costing me my first ten days, I still managed to get somewhat on track for Silver, then ended up with enough time for a well-balanced feral rush to 100% completion rate. I actually turned out relatively satisfied with my feral entries.   In fact, if I had to pick my most favourite one, it's one I ended up writing near the very end. Rushed, incomplete, not properly edited, but still a fun write. Feel free to take a look at Moenen if you want. He's a sneaky one, though, so make sure to up your Firewall first.   The judging went quite well too, though I did end up with a massive 'short'list. So here we are, picking random entries from my shortlist so that I won't give away my winner with this article. Could be someone on the list. Could be someone else. Plenty of options, no spoilers here. ^_^

Wonders of the World

Resolutions

So what's next? Well, I'm happy with the progress made on the Valley. But it needs some cohesion. So asides from looking into a way to update its map, the main work will be to Chronology it. Tie all the research and documents together, hide what is not yet known, leave a trail of breadcrumbs ready for the players to explore and expand upon.   By the time WorldEmber arrives, I hope to have started GMing the setting. Then, during WorldEmber, I can start expanding on it and preparing the next phase, while also writing out all the NPCs that the players will interact with. To make the place feel alive. And, unfortunately, in some cases dead as well.

One Last Marvellous Thing

Where would I be without calling out Tillerz? His articles have repeatedly inspired me. In fact, I owe said inspiration for all my work on the United Netherlands for Shadowrun Missions. So let me just link one article here:
