Redfaire

Redfaire is a bustling port city of many colors. Many consider Redfaire to be a safe haven. Long ago, an agreement was signed between Redfaire and the pirates of Buckingborne that restricted them access to Redfaire's docks. While the pirates rarely stop at any of the coastal cities of Atolvance today, the air of peace still hangs over Redfaire's busy streets.

Government

Redfaire is led by Chancellor Mardalm Zimenza, a democratically elected leader. Every 10 years, a new chancellor is elected. At the end of each year of rule, a vote is taken to see if the sitting leader's rule should be brought into question. Chancellor Zimenza has ruled for 6 years and never has his rule been looked upon as anything other than steadfast.

Defences

While Redfaire is relatively free of crime or foreign threat, they are protected by The Tidewatch . Redfaire wields a powerful fleet of sailing vessels under the name of the Tidewatch, as well as an infantry capable of keeping Orc war bands at bay.

Infrastructure

Redfaire's ports extend into the city, creating small canals and tributaries that are used to carry supplies deeper into the city. The streets are lined with market stalls, performers and tourists alike. They can all be found browsing the city's commercial and entertainment districts.
